The Importance Of Rear-Facing

Tim is approaching that milestone of one year, and this is one of those decisions that all moms have to make. I found this video on Youtube, and thought I would share it. These are my reasons for keeping my little guy rear facing until he outgrows his convertible carseat.

Tim's First Cold

His eyes are watery, his nose is running and his throat is scratchy. My baby got his first, full blown, cold. The first night was a little rough, his sleep was interrupted, and my sleep as well. We put a humidifier in his room, and that cleared him up. The second night was much better, he even slept an extra hour. Now on the third day, he seems to be nearly cleared up.

Just a little update

Since Tim is getting into so much lately. I don't have much time to post. I haven't even had time to transfer my pictures off my camera onto the computer.

  • Tim is crawling like crazy. And he moves so fast. One second he's in your site, and the next second he's not.
  • He's pulling up on everything. I didn't realise how much stuff I would have to move out of the way.
  • He's tried all sorts of new food; lentils, spinach, green peppers and a little taste of pineapple.

That's all for my quick little update. I will post pictures as soon as I get the opportunity. Gotta fly.

I take a lot of photos, here's a few

As an avid photographer, I also took advantage of the latest technology in photography - digital photography - to post photos on my website on a daily basis. :Tipper Gore

Thanksgiving weekend

I can not believe it is Thanksgiving already. Which means it is almost Christmas, and almost Tim's first birthday. The time has flown by, and everything is happening way too fast. For Thanksgiving we went to my husband's parent's house. Where Tim got to meet his cousin Kinnon, for the second time, but this time Tim was a little more interactive.

The boy in the striped shirt is Kinnon.

And here's a few pictures of Tim playing in the leaves, or rather eating the leaves.

And here's a cute little poem I found online. To my mother-in-law.

Thank you for inviting us To your Thanksgiving dinner. A day spent in your companyIs invariably a winner.
Thank you for the time you spent Preparing all the food; For making us feel welcome,You have our gratitude!

First Art Project

Today we pulled out the finger paints. I put him in his high chair, handed him a couple sheets of paper, dipped his finger in blue paint, then red paint. Then he went wild. He painted the paper, wrinkled the paper, painted the high chair, painted his face, arms, legs, and clothes. And afterwards he had a long relaxing bath.

And here are the final results of all his hard work.

Busy Weekend

Tim had a big weekend, on Saturday we went and visited his grandpa D, and his auntie Raylene out at the farm. Then we went to visit his Great-grandma M, at her home.

Then on Sunday, after a whole day of shopping, going to Walmart, then Home Outfitters, then Sobeys, we went to the park. Tim's first ever trip to the park. He went on the swings, as well as a ride down the slide with his dad.
