Four month shots

I was really dreading these shots. But it went way better this time then it did last time. Well for me anyway. Last time I could barely keep from crying. But this time, I think it's cause I knew what to expect, I did great. Tim's doing a lot better too. He's already playing. It's like he forgot the whole trauma. Which I'm sure he has. And little to say the Tylenol probably helped too. So the doctor says I can start solids. I am so excited. Guess we'll see how that goes. He also mentioned that I should not put Tim in a walker. I am amazed that they even sell those anymore, they are so dangerous. I don't think they sell them anywhere in Canada, but everywhere I go here they are sold. It just baffles me.

8So big surprise. The day I start my blog he starts doing something new. After nearly two months of lying on the ground and staring at his toy. He has finally figured out what it does.

On another note we have started Ferberizing Tim. Today will be the second day of our sleep training. It only took him twenty minutes to fall asleep tonight. If you don't know what Ferberizing is. It is training your baby to fall asleep on there own. What you do is put them to bed, awake. If they start to cry you leave them to cry for five minutes, then you return into the room. Calm them down. And leave the room again. You continue returning every five minutes until he falls asleep. Lucky for us Timothy never lasts very long. So hopefully we'll be done with this sleep training in the next couple of days. Wish us luck.

First Post

I set up this Blog so that I could update family, and friends on the going ons of my little boy.

Timothy has been a great little addition to our family. He has brought so much love into our home. And who knew that I could ever love someone as much as I love Tim.

My parents are first time grandparents. And they are very happy with the new addition.

My husbands parents are second time grandparents, but they were just as eager to meet the new grandson.
