Another trip to the zoo

We love going to the Zoo, especially on, not so cold, winter days. The animals are lively, and it's free!

The wolves were running and jumping on one another. Here's a picture of the boys, they were both fascinated by them.

A couple pictures inside the learning centre, where they keep the snakes, and lizards.

Tim pouting because we had to leave the snakes and lizards.
The mommy lion watching us walk around. We got to the front of the cage, and she came to visit us. Noah was terrified, and told me that "mommy lion, mine scared". I wish I could have gotten a closer picture of her, but Noah wasn't having any of it.

Winter, Winter, Rah, Rah, Rah

We've had a few relatively nice days out this week, so I've taken every opportunity to put on the kids snowsuits, and throw them outside.

They love bringing their Tonka trucks. They drive through, over and around the snow piles in our backyard.

I love this one of Noah, even though his nose is runny.

Little Artist

Noah has taking a huge interest in colouring, and painting. He also pulled the letters off my sister's laptop yesterday, but that's another story. We learned from Noah, that yes all colours can be mixed together. That stickers, and paint are two of the best things in the world. And most importantly that paint does not taste good, in fact it is gross and yucky.

Links!!!

Today I am here to introduce you to two wonderful blogs. First is my friend from way back who has gone on a trip to Korea, she is teaching English there. She wants to get 3000 hits before she comes home.

The second is a blogger friend, she has a little boy the same age as Noah, and has just started a feature called Fat Ass Friday.

Thank you in advance for perusing their blogs.

Using Scissors

I am so shocked at how well Tim can use scissors. I know it's a developmental milestone, and yada, yada, yada. But it still amazes me how well he is getting at doing everything by himself. He gets dressed by himself, cuts his pancakes by himself, goes potty(and wipes him bum) all by himself, and so much more. Yay for my oldest boy.

Also tonight I am going to his kindergarten orientation. I haven't decided for sure if he is going into kindergarten, or continuing with preschool.

Monkey Animal Party

Since we are not talking about last night's game, then we may as well talk about sock monkeys. And how little boys throw a monkey animal party. Tim and Noah love to have animal parties, where they throw all their stuffed animals in a pile, and jump in.

This time they thought they would hang sock monkeys from the top bunk, and jump into their animals, through the monkeys.

Happy Monkey Animal Party!

Grandma

My boys are lucky enough to have two beautiful, wonderful Grandmas. I tried to find a picture of Grandma D with the boys, but couldn't find one. We will have to work on that.

Hungry, Hungry Hippos

There is nothing like playing hungry, hungry hippos with a four year old and a two year old. The excitement of hitting the hippos, and eating up all the balls, is nothing to Noah saying yum, yum the whole time. Or Tim laughing his addictive laugh. Which gets everyone else laughing, and makes the game ten times more fun.

Grandma

She's probably going to ask me to take this post down, because she doesn't like her picture taken. But she a beautiful, wonderful, Grandma, so it's staying up.

Finally...

a Christmas post. I have been crazy busy since we got home. Organizing photos, organizing presents, laundry, and cleaning. And facebook of course. So finally, here is the Christmas post I promised.

Noah just loved opening presents. Every time he got a new one he would ask. "For mine". Get super happy, and rip the paper off.

Tim was so engrossed in his present opening. He wouldn't say anything, until he got a really good one, and then he would show us.

Look he's even happy about getting clothes.

A Tonka truck...YAY, just what Dad asked for
