Noah's Updated Word List

Tomorrow will be Noah's 18 month check up. I know 18 months where was the time gone. He is no longer a little baby, needing me to help him do everything(he loves to do stuff all by himself), but a little boy. With feelings, really strong feelings, and words, lots of words. Here's a list of most of the words. I probably left out a few..
  • ohoh
  • grandpa
  • hello
  • pablo
  • cookie
  • thank you
  • yeah
  • oh no
  • your welcome
  • snack
  • truck
  • all done
  • no
  • don't
  • toes
  • drink
  • mom
  • tim
  • fan
  • elmo
  • animal
  • kitty
  • sam
  • night
  • bye
  • ball
  • hut hut
  • hand
  • nose
  • belly
  • up
  • pickles
  • choo choo
  • blanket
  • dad
  • go
  • kayla
  • jen
  • grandma
  • chip
  • ow

This list is sort of my way to remember all of Noah's first words..and how much he grew in the second year of his life. I hope to never forget how special my boys are. OK...enough with the sappy stuff.

The Children's Festival

Yesterday we took a trip to the Children's Festival. It's a yearly event in Saskatoon. The festival goes for five days in June, and usually it's accompanied by rain. No exception this year, except for the day we chose to go....lucky us. We went to the family flapjack, which is pancake breakfast and a show. Everyone really loved the show, The Good Food Diner, especially Tim. He had a ginormous smile on his face the whole time.

Here's Tim planting a sunflower. He would not touch the dirt, except to scoop it in the cup, so I had to push down the dirt and plant the sunflower. So it has turned into my labour of love. We'll see if we get a sunflower out of it.
Playing with the giant connect four. All the little kids loved this.

Tim making a craft. I wish I had taken a picture of the final project, but we were so busy I never thought of it.

I wish I had taken more pictures of Noah, but he was so excited that getting him to look at the camera was near impossible. So here's one of him taking a drink break.

Tim playing in the sandbox.

and the play tent.

Noon rolled around, and it was time for Noah to take a nap, so we went for franks at the Saskatoon bus stop restaurant. So good, and they have so many great ice cream flavours too.

Watching a science experiment...a bottle rocket.

Tim playing with the LEGO.

Noah watching Tim play with the LEGO

Running off because he was bored with watching Tim play.

Tim's Peas(June 9)

They are poking through...YAY! Tim was so happy to see them he came shouting...mom..mom..come look my peas. We are all so happy to see his first adventures in gardening coming along nicely.

And yes I know yesterday was June 9th...but I hate having two posts in one day. So I am posting this today.

Monday Minute: Kid Edition

Finally able to get on blogger. I tried earlier, but it kept kicking me out. I am happy to see it's fixed, and to hear from other bloggers that it wasn't only me.
Today's Monday minute was answered by my super adorable, sometimes grumpy, but always funny, Tim.

Flip Flops, Letter Pancakes, and Voting

Just wanted to pass on a note that a blogger friend of mine has started a charity the Sue DiNapoli Ovarian Cancer Foundation...a great foundation..and they have made it into a voting contest to get a 50,000$ grant. Please vote for them. You have one opportunity everyday. Please click on the link and vote. Thanks in advance.

One day, maybe two months ago, I made alphabet pancakes for the boys one morning. Tim calls them letter pancakes. And now, at least once a week, Tim asks to make letter pancakes. Here is a picture of him helping me make pancakes in the morning.
I participated in a flip flop exchange sponsored by Brandy at you don't know. Mine arrived in the mail last Friday...but you know how it goes, I finally got a picture of them today. I love them, they are so cute.
