Boo Town 2011

I took Tim last year, and have decided to make this a yearly tradition. The boys love it, even though sometimes it's a little freaky for them.

Boo town is put on by our Western Development museum. A museum which showcases the pioneering roots of Saskatchewan.

Here's Tim as Thomas again.

And Noah the pumpkin

To The Maze Again

Since the pumpkin patch we go to is a free thing...we usually go a few times before they take it apart. Here's some more pictures. They actually stood still for them, before taking off.

They also met a couple other boys at there. Here they are colouring together.

Halloween Bingo

This week we took the boys to a hallowe'en bingo party. The local co-ops kid club was putting it on. They got to dress in their costumes, and play bingo for a chance to win prizes...we didn't win anything though. And that's a-ok, cause the boys had so much fun.

Here's a sneak peak at Tim's hallowe'en costume..yep he's going as Thomas again. Works for me.

Noah also decided to wear the same costume he wore last year. So I saved a ton this year... no complaints from me.

We got endless amounts of free popcorn, and we all ate our fair share. I cannot resist free popcorn.

Pumpkin Patch

The other day, Noah and I went to the pumpkin patch. I had a hard time getting a picture of him in the patch, because he hit the ground running. This is the only time I saw him before we met up at the end.

Here he is with the pumpkin we picked up.. just a small one, they didn't have any good big ones left.

The Season's Done

The Roughriders' season is done...no chance of a playoff spot this year.

Here's Tim and Noah supporting the team, no matter what. In their new shirts from their grandma.

Freeze Yer Buns!

I can't believe it's that time of year again. Time to freeze yer buns. The temperatures here have been hovering around 0 at night for the past couple of weeks...and 10 during the day for about a week. The sun stays away a little bit longer, and the frost bites in the morning. But it's only going to get colder.

This year I challenge myself to keep a temperature of 20 during the day, and 15 at night.

Also the challenge is on FB this year, if you'd like to join up.

I'm Back

Starting Weight: 190.4lbs
Current Weight: 167

I think I've gained 20lbs since the last time I weighed in..probably more.. I know what's gone wrong...but I can't figure out why I can't get back on track. Nothing is stressing me out, nothing is making me sad... I think I've lost accountability..which is why I'm posting this week.

I will exercise daily...no more excuses.

I will not buy anymore cookies(or bake anymore cookies), candy, or ice cream.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had yet another busy weekend. We started Saturday with a trip to the hallowe'en superstore, where we bought some new decorations..and a Zombie family decal for our car. Later that night the boys went to their first hockey game of the season.

This is what Tim does when I ask him to smile for a picture.

On Sunday we went over to Grandma S' for the thanksgiving feast.

The boys sat at the kiddie table.

After the feast, they did a little wrestling with their Auntie Jen.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. And enjoy your turkey.

Rainy Fall Days

Ah! Fall! I love fall, the smells, the colours, the holidays. I don't really care for the rain though. It rained for a day and a half..pouring rain...so we encouraged the kids to go play in the puddles. They put on rain coats, rain boots, and went out splashing in the back alley.

PS to spell check...yes colours is a word...so stop underlining it.
