First Snow 2010

As I mentioned on Tuesday, we had our first snowfall this week. Here's some pictures of the boys playing in the snow

Building a snowman with Dad

Tim was so preoccupied playing that I couldn't get one picture of him looking at the camera.

These three pictures were taken by Tim

Pumpkin Carving

This morning the boys, Blaine and I carved out our Jack O-lantern for hallowe'en. Here's a before picture of Tim, and Noah waiting well Dad cut the top off the pumpkin.

Noah getting into the pumpkin to scoop out the guts...or as Tim said "those are seeds, not guts"

Tim's turn

Both of them working together

Tim standing with the final product. The painted thing is some sort of squash(I think acorn) that Tim got at the farmer's market. He wanted to paint it for hallowe'en.

Our Jack O-lantern

I was making some pumpkin seeds, but they got burnt. I don't even know how, they were only in the oven for 15 minutes. So that's a FAIL.

Happy Hallowe'en!!!

Breakfast

I was going to post both of these pictures yesterday, but the upload thingie was not working for me. Guess I'll post them today. Take that Jessica Seinfeld, I was mixing healthy, and unhealthy cereal, long before you mentioned it on Oprah.

RTT: First snow

randomtuesday

Almost made it to Hallowe'en without snow, almost, it snowed last night, and it's supposed to stick around until the weekend. We are hoping for nicer weather on Sunday night. Tim will be going trick or treating, and(from what I remember) it's no fun in the snow.

* * *

Tim started swimming lessons yesterday, he has a male teacher, and he really likes him. Well what he said was "I sure do like him".
* * *

Noah is trouble spelt with a capital TROUBLE. He bites, kicks, spits, hits, and constantly argues(throws tantrums) about everything.

I can't believe that this is the last season of The Tudors. First LOST, now The Tudors, what am I supposed to do with myself.

Tree trimmers

Noah and Tim spent about an hour yesterday morning watching two guys trim the neighbour's tree. I took a few pictures, and then let them watch.

Hey, It's OK Tuesday

I was inspired by whiperingwriter @ airing my dirty laundry. Check her blog out, it's really great, or should I say awesome.
******
To dislike most of the moms at preschool, and their very boring conversations.
To laugh at your husband because he is going to spend 14 dollars to see Jackass 3D
To cry well watching Dexter.
To actually enjoy watching Dancing With The Stars this year, most years I could not care less about the show

Coat Rack

We put up this coat rack for Tim and Noah's coats, backpacks, sweaters...etc. I thought it would be a good idea to curb them from throwing their stuff all over the floor, and maybe keeping the house a little cleaner. Hopefully it will be the start of a life long habit.

Pumpkin Maze 2010

Yesterday we visited the pumpkin maze at Dutch Growers, a little nursery by our house. Tim's been to it twice in the past. Year one here, and year two here. And this is Noah's very first year. This year Dad got to check it out for the very first time, and we all had lots of fun getting lost, and then finding the exit.

It's completely free, so we'll probably go and visit again before the end of the month.

RTT: Almost thanksgiving edition

randomtuesday

So Monday is Thanksgiving here in the great white north. We're heading to Regina to have Thanksgiving with Great Grandma. Yummy Turkey.

We have been having gorgeous weather, it's like the end of August in the beginning of October, and we have been enjoying it so much. Especially raking all the leaves. LOL! We're almost done. Most of the trees around us are leaveless(don't think this is a word, oh well, new word).
I bought the boys big combo gift for Christmas, and the poor kid at TRU could barely fit it in my two door Sunfire. It was pretty funny, I wasn't laughing though, because that is rude. He was skinny as a rail, and probably weighed 90lbs, and this box probably weighed 40lbs, and he's trying to push it into my backseat. Anyway we eventually got it in, and now it is safely hiding in my basement. (It's a train table BTW) I can't wait to watch the kids open it.
