Day 18

The boys and I are sick today, and it's snowing like crazy.

Though I love James Franco, and enjoyed watching him last night. He did not do very well as a host. Anne Hathaway was pretty annoying too.

I was a little upset with the Oscars in general, pretty blah night.

Also on the potty training front, Noah is not doing so well. He has refused to pee on the toilet for the last week. He did really well for two days, he went on the toilet every time. And then one day he decided to just pee in his pants, but I will not give up.

I was going to post a before picture, and an after picture. But I could not find a before picture on my computer...hmmm...strange... or maybe that's on purpose. I know my mom has some on her computer, so that is my project for next week.

Yep, that's right. Picking his nose is his new favorite activity.

Potty Training

Just a short stop to announce that we started potty training Noah. So far it's been a little bit of a struggle. He is so easily distracted, so getting him to pay attention, and pee on the potty has been a little task. We went cold turkey with diapers, only during naps and bedtime. The last two days have been pretty messy, but we've had success as well. He is starting to notice when he needs to pee, or poop. Now to just get him to tell us, instead of standing with a shocked look on his face.

Monster Trucks:

This picture shows their two different personalities so well. Noah is always ready to jump right in, see the big smile on his face, no fear. Where as Tim is a little more cautious, see his face, something spooked him. I'll have to ask Blaine what it was.

I've seen a few other bloggers doing this, and thought WOW what a fun idea. They call it project 365. But I'm just going to take a picture every day, until my trip to Vegas. So a month, and a week. I'll figure out how many days that is at the end.

So we will call this picture project until mama heads to Sin City. Or PPUMHTSC.

Preschool Carnival

Last Friday Tim's preschool threw a carnival for the students, and their family.

Here's a picture of Tim at the hockey station. Simple, shoot the puck into the net.

Noah at the car station. You would put a car at the top, and it would slide down. He returned to this station over, and over again.

Both boys playing at one of the many other stations. The teachers did a great job. There was about twenty activities to keep the kids occupied. They even had crafts. Which my boys had little interest in. I had to convince them to make a crown.
