My dearest husband, Blaine, insisted that I post about our rain collection system...aka a rain barrel. He was sick of people bugging him about getting this task done. So yesterday he went and got it done...about time.

Blue Paint
Last week, and this week, we had a few cloudy, miserable days. So we pulled out the paints, and Noah got his first taste of painting. By the end, he literally did get a taste, and he did not like it. YUCK!

RTT: migranes and shredding

Hmmm, where to start.
----
Last week, I spent three days lying in my bed fighting a migraine, the worst migraine I've ever had. Head pounding, dizzy, nauseous. For the first day, I thought I might be pregnant, I was so nauseous, but thank heavens it was just a migraine. I still feeling a little exhausted, hope that will pass soon.
----
As for exhausted, I started shredding two weeks ago. That is the 30 Day Shred, by Jillian Michaels, and she kicks my ass. Everyday. It seems as though it should get easier as the days go by, but it doesn't. I better see results.

Michael Buble was AWESOME!!!

Where did my summer go. It's only 18 outside, in the middle of August. How are my tomatoes supposed to ripen, without any sun. I guess we'll be eating fried green tomatoes for breakfast. Or at least my Dad can. I've never even tried them, guess this will be the year.

Finally!
We moved into our home two years ago, and the walls needed painting then. Well two years later isn't too bad.

Starter Garden
This may be totally random, but I've decided to call my flower garden my starter garden. I'm not sure if it's the one I want to have forever, but I am sure happy with my starter garden right now. I have sunflowers, two of them, but they have yet to flower. Delphinium, beautiful, may be a flower I've fallen in love with, gladiolas, and a hosta.
