Lent!

I am giving up sugar, refined sugars to be exact, so I can still eat veggies and fruits. So this morning, I was looking through my cupboards to see all the crap I have that has sugar in it. And thought I would give you a short list. I challenge everyone to check your cupboards, you may be surprised.

  • bread( my husband loves Dempsters, I noticed my organic bread does not have sugar)
  • Peanut Butter(yep lots of it)
  • Jam(I will have to buy no sugar added)
  • Lean Cuisine Frozen Dinners
  • Ketchup
  • Mayo\
  • Miracle Whip
  • Soup
  • Cereal\
  • Spaghetti Sauce
  • Salad Dressing

And the list goes on and on. I am shocked at all the sugar surrounding me everyday. In things I would have never thought contained sugar. My spaghetti sauce is supposed to be healthy(the name contains the word healthy).

Giving up sugar?! No way man. Pretty sure I would perish seeing as sugar is the main ingredient in my diet! Good luck!
